It’s been an incredible year of beginnings at Broadstead Kilmore

From the first land release, to getting to know the local community and receiving approval of Broadstead’s masterplan, as the year ends there is a buzz of excitement for our newest community in Kilmore East.

On the sales front, Stage 01 is now 92% sold with the first couple of Stage 02 lots already on market. These have been sold to many buyers looking for more space in a beautiful country setting.

Here’s some of our favourite moments from the year that was:

Our Sales Suite Opened

To see our vision realised for Broadstead’s sales suite at 200 Quinns Road was an incredibly special moment for our project team. This milestone allowed us to showcase Broadstead’s scenic surrounds and provide a welcoming space for customers at Broadstead to stop by for a cuppa and hear more about our plans for this new neighbourhood.

First Sales

Once our sales suite was complete, many buyers joined us at Broadstead for our VIP contract signing day. It was there that we met Bervily Chenai Chandakabata and her family, who recognised Broadstead’s potential after seeing the project online.

“It’s mainly the location that attracted us and it’s a growing regional area, so you have everything you need close by, but you still have that country lifestyle,” she said.

“The block we have purchased is a good size, for a good price, which is quite rare to find these days.”

We got to know the kilmore community.

We were delighted to support the local community surrounding Broadstead through grants and sponsorships. These initiatives saw seven local community groups – including a food bank, wildlife shelter and historical society – be awarded a share of more than $10,000 in grants. We were also pleased to sponsor and spend time with both the Kilmore Football and Netball club, and Kilmore Racing Club, who provide great services and support to the local community.

Masterplan Approval

Mitchell Shire Council has provided permit approval for Broadstead, which paves the way for $100 million in infrastructure improvements, $23 million of which will be injected into the surrounding area.

These works are set to include extensions to Tootle Street and McIvors Road, shared cycling and walking paths and expanded waterways.

This milestone will also enable Jinding to commence construction on both Stages 01 and 02 at Broadstead mid next year.
